About the course

Summary of method
Sperm samples (~ 0.5-3 µl) are collected with microcapillary tubes from the cloacal protuberance of male birds after a gentle massage and diluted in a small volume (~20 µl) of Phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) solution before fixed in ~300 µl of 5% formaldehyde solution for later slide preparation.

Sampling materials:
1) tube with formalin, 2) tube with Phosphate Buffered Saline (PBS), 3) droppers or microcapilliary holders, 4) microcapillary tubes
